Oh, Bruce. Bruce, honey. You wanna see proof that he and Hulk have come to an agreement? He is surrounded by triggers of what’s happened to him and the Hulk before (military-type personnel, weapons), and he’s just sort of lost in it all but without any fear of Hulk coming out. He’s just trying to stay inconspicuous and small and out of the way and get through whatever this is, and he and Hulk seem to have agreed to terms.

The way I see it, he’s keeping up that act only to keep everyone else at ease.

That shit doesn’t bother him; how can anything ever be as scary as his other half? This is Bruce embracing his new role, actually; playing a part that everyone else thinks fits him. He can do that.
